The 24 hours quality time.

I've arrived at hometown since thursday and the next day we (I, makjul, asoi, ceha, pinle) did a sleepover at ceha's house. We went to eat at Pizzaboy at first and I could say the foods were delicious. Met at ceha's house, we talked as we havent met for years. I was having fun talking with my girls. You know you can always talk about everything with your bestfriends. We bought some dvds, watching it until past midnight and continue gossiping till dawn. The next day we had lunch together and went to watch movie as well, The Conjuring, which I should say scary as hell. But I had a lot of fun, especially for the 24 hours quality time. It's my first time to do something like that and we have planned for the next one. Im happy that we're still be able to do everything like what we used to do in high school`^^

Countdown dumdumdum.

It's 2 days more and I'll be homed! Tomorrow is the big exam and I feel like Im still not well-prepared yet. Yesterday everything I said was mixed up during practices and I kinda confused. Decided not to practice too hard today so I wont be that anxious tomorrow. A few days left back to hometown and I've made lots of appointment with my friends. Super excited and super curious for tomorrow! Pray for me okay AJA AJA FIGHTING !!

XXX days more!

it's exactly 10 days more !! I dont know whether I should say Im that excited but 2 exams of the year are haunting me right now and Im still this relax. Should I hit my head to the wall? I think the population has decreased more than 50% as students have back to their home for almost a month and Jogja is actually not that crowded. I like this condition but somehow it makes me afraid since it's better to be crowded that to be alone. Im not ready for the exam yet I still have to face it. I can do it, fighting!

Almost forget to post about this. Last week I and my friends accompanied our incomings from France, Anne and Clemence. We went to Ullen Sentalu (again) because I guessed foreigners would like the things associated with history that much. I myself always excited whenever I went there and because this has been my 3rd time, my excitement was decrease a bit. They even taught us a few French sentences for basic conversation and I liked it very much. Paris has been the city I adored since I were a child and I hope I can go there someday. That day was ended pretty fast because we only spent the day at the museum and then had our lunch at Raminten. Im quite disappointed last time not having spent much time with Kath and Tarasince we only met once, so I want this time I can at least meet them again for the second time. Im always excited to meet new people from the other countries and the other cultures :3

Movie review: Miracle in Cell No. 7

This movie indeed drives me crazy. I've been crying for almost the whole movie and now my eyes looks like panda's eyes. The story is really touching yet the main leads are potraying their character perfectly. It tells about Lee Yong-gu, a mentally handicapped man with an intelligence of a 6-year-old, which is actually the age of his own daughter Ye-sung who is much smarter than her peers. The two of them lead a happy life on their own while Yong-gu makes a living by working as a parking attendant at a local supermarket. But one day, when the police commissioner’s young daughter dies in a strange accident, Yong-gu who happens to find her is falsely accused and sentenced to death for abduction, sexual assault, and murder of a minor. Ye-sung is sent to a childcare institution and Yong-gu gets imprisoned and assigned to Cell No.7, the harshest cell in a maximum security prison. At first, other inmates in the cell keep their guard against Yong-gu, then realize that there's something wrong with him. Not understanding his own dire situation, Yong-gu only worries about his daughter. One day, he saves his fellow cellmate, an influential figure in the prison, from an attack by his rival. In return for saving his life, Yong-gu is granted a wish: to see his daughter Ye-sung again. The inmates put their heads together to carry out a daring operation and miraculously succeed in sneaking Yesung into Cell No.7 during a religious event. While the father and daughter rejoice, the others realize it was relatively easy getting her in, but impossible getting her out. After a while, Yesung is detected and sent back, but during the time the inmates as well as the prison guards come to realize that Yong-gu was falsely charged. And they all put their heads together to prepare him for his final trial.

What makes this movie great is it shows us a really touching daddy-daughter relationship. Ye Seung still loves his father very much despite his disability. I love how it is not only a pure family movie but they also put a comedy element in it. I didnt realise how many tissues I've used while watching this movie. The child actress, Kal So Won, is just 7 years old but she managed to portray her character perfectly. This movie was a box office despite its low budget. The film exceeded 12 million viewers 46 days after its release. On March 15, 2013, 52 days after its release, ticket sales reached 12.32 million, making it the third highest grossing Korean film of all time. In one side you can laugh like crazy because of the inmates' act and on the other side, you can cry because of the touching moment. Make sure you put a box of tissues close to you while watching.
