Goodbye is the new hello.

Finally I write after 2 weeks absence. Holiday will end in about a week and even the schedule for the new block has out. The groups have also been divided and this time Im in group 11. Pretty excited because I will have new friends, new atmosphere, and new new etc. We will also have 6 weeks for a block instead of 7 weeks which I considered okay as long as I can get more holidays. Im still not ready to leave hometown as I like to stay at home although Im doing nothing. Can I go back to the time when I just arrived here?

Drama review: I Hear Your Voice

Another korean drama again. I've been following this one since the first episode and yesterday was the last episode so I directly watched it after it has been subbed. I still felt that post-drama-finale syndrome for that mainland drama I watched and the hype for this finale has yet decreased. IHYV has been one of 2013's drama hit for hitting 20% marks in rating. It's was such an achievement since for now daily dramas only got 10% rating or if worse, they could only get a single digit. The story tells about Jang Hye Sung, played by Lee Bo Young, a public defender with no passion. Here came another boy Park Soo Ha, played by Lee Jong Suk, who has a mind-reading ability and 10 years his junior. He and Hye Sung would be connected by the dark past and made them counting on each other. The love triangle was completed by the addition of Cha Kwan Woo, played by Yoon Sang Hyun, once a police officer but decided to apply to be a public defender since it was his passion. The main conflict started when Soo Ha was still a child and everything began since then. Hye Sung did really pissed me off in the beginning but I should say she portrayed it really well. I think what made this drama really popular are the fresh storyline and how they make us, the audience, cant guess what will happen next. Everytime I watched it, I always surprised by how the storyline moved really fast and out of my prediction. I also shipped Hye Sung and Soo Ha although previously I never accepted a noona-dongsaeng relationship. This couple is just too cute to be true. Soo Ha's mind reading ability is also another plus point. He could read what people are thinking by looking into their eyes, somehow this made some people think of him as a monster. Why I recommend this drama mainly because I think it's just great if we cant guess how the story will flow instead of a boring storyline where everybody can guess how it will end. Im really glad they picked Lee Jong Suk to act as Park Soo Ha instead of Kim Jae Won even they are a bit look alike. I'll give 9.5 stars for this.

PS: If you're asking why I keep giving high rating in my dramas and possibly Im subjective, it's because I always have my own point of view why I want to watch this drama and not that one and I never watch drama that doesnt look interesting to me although it has a high rating.

Synopsis:
The series is a combination of courtroom drama and romantic comedy with elements of fantasy. After overcoming poverty and a difficult childhood, Jang Hye-sung (Lee Bo-young) becomes a lawyer, specifically a public defender, but she is pragmatic, self-preserving and jaded. Her life changes when she encounters Park Soo-ha (Lee Jong-suk), a high school boy with the supernatural ability to read other people's thoughts by looking into their eyes, and cop-turned-lawyer Cha Gwan-woo (Yoon Sang-hyun) who is cheerful and idealistic, though a bit of a dork. Soo-ha gained his mind-reading ability after witnessing his father getting murdered ten years ago. His father's death had initially been dismissed as a car accident until Hye-sung, then a high school girl (Kim So-hyun), gave decisive testimony in court despite the killer's threats (Jung Woong-in), and Soo-ha has been searching for her ever since. As Hye-sung works with Soo-ha and Gwan-woo, she gradually lets go of her pursuit of money and glory. Together, this unlikely team use unconventional methods on their cases, proving that while sometimes justice is blind to a fault, she can still hear your voice.

Drama review: 盛夏晚晴天 Sheng Xia Wan Qing Tian

Finally another mainland drama! I havent watched chinese dramas for ages and I've been searching for the good ones and this is just perfect! My friend recommended me and said this was just so sweet. I love sweet and romantic drama so this suits me very much. What's cuter than a real life couple portraying an on-screen lover? Liu Kai Wei and Yang Mi really made me shipped them to the bits! Never knew that Yang Mi is the hottest young actress in mainland now and pretty surprised at first because I've never heard her name before. It's a 51-episode-drama so I dont recommend you to watch if you dont like the long drama but it's pretty short for a episode, only 40 minutes or less. Since it can be considered a romantic drama with family intrigue, sometimes you'll find it boring when they talked about business. The story tells about a girl named Xia Wan Qing (Yang Mi) whose boyfriend was taken by her bestfriend a.k.a his former girlfriend and in order to get revenge, she seeked help from Qiao Jin Fan (Liu Kai Wei) a playboy from Qiao's family which is the business enemy of Xia's family. Things involved were about love, revenge, business, and so on. I find this one was interesting because when both of them were on screen, their chemistry was just perfect and you'll love anything about them. You should pay attention to their phone ringtones after they officially dated. Cuteness overload <3 I skipped the part about business or useless talks since this drama was too long and Im used to watch korean dramas where most of them only consisted of 16-18 episodes. This one is highly recommended, should say 9.5 out of 10 stars. Liu Kai Wei and Yang Mi <333

PS: you can watch it online on www.viki.com with the title 'Clear Midsummers Night'. Preferable if you can mandarin, because some may not have subtitles.

Synopsis:
The daughter of a real estate mogul Xia Wan Qing (Yang Mi), has seemingly no way of retreating after a friend's betrayal and her boyfriend backing out of their wedding. Fortunately, she's saved by business genius Qiao Jin Fan (Hawick Lau). Jin Fan is a "playboy" and the future successor for Qiao corporation. He extends an offering hand and together they embark on a path of revenge. Each for reasons of their own, begin a love with "uncertain motives." After enduring circumstances because of their families' competing interests and a number of conspiracies the two find true love.

Arent both of them too cute? :3
